The horseman drawn here is Albert de Ligne, Count of
Arenberg and Prince of Barbancon (1600-1674).
VanDyck took the horse and rider from a different point of
view when he painted his oil portrait of Arenberg, now
in the collection of the Earl of Leicester at Holkham.
