"STREET SEEN IN A VILLAGE"

Two pages of a scetchbook pieced together. The left half was engraved
in reverse and published by Hieronymus Cock in 1561 in the book of 
little flemish landscapes Proediorum villarum et rusticorum icones.
Bastelaer and Friedlander attributed the drawings to Pieter Bruegel the Elder,
Burchard and Baldass to Cornelius Cort, and Tolnay to Cornelis Massys.
